GROUPLOVE - “Tongue Tied” from Never Trust A Happy Song
So this is the song form the new iPod commercial that’s been playing on loop everywhere for a couple of weeks now. I actually first heard it a couple months back and dug it enough except for the fact that the girl in the band totally RUINS it with her shitty verse (and she actually ruins most of the album too). Props to the people at Apple for totally ignoring her contribution to the song, because otherwise it succeeds at being highly energetic and catchy with a cool little bass line in the chorus. The video is pretty neat too.
In conclusion, this is why you don’t let your girlfriend join your band.
