Crystal Castles (featuring Robert Smith of The Cure) - “Not In Love” from Crystal Castles
I’m actually not that big of a fan of Crystal Castles, but I do love this song a buttload. Probably because I love The Cure (I’ll agree with Trey Parker and Matt Stone on South Park when they said Disintegration is one of the best albums of all time) and this is the best thing Robert Smith has done in years. Plus all you crazy kids who love that hippity-hoppidy EDC house club music will probably love this chorus a bunch, though that’s kind of funny considering Crystal Castles is a pretty esoteric art-electronic band that features a female vocalist whose voice is warped and modified on every track they do. Whatevs.
And once again, the FIFA 12 soundtrack has exposed me to another amazing song, meaning I continue to lose -1000 hipster points a week for getting into this music waaaaaaay after the fact.
