We finally got to the fireworks factory in the mid-season finale! Also, I hate kids on TV shows, so that worked out even better than I could have hoped.
BTW that last scene was excellent and one of the best sequences of TV I’ve seen all year (At first thought, number one is still Walt going crazy at the end of “Crawl Space” on Breaking Bad though there are definitely a bunch of other contenders I’m leaving out by accident right now), brilliant directed by Michelle MacLaren who did the infamous final scene of “One Minute” on Breaking Bad as well.
The arch-conflict of Shane (The Need for Survival) vs. Rick (The Need to be Human) is being set up nicely for next year.
